First Step
Several steps take place, and if they are not followed properly, then Part A or Part B could result in penalties or delayed enrollment options.
In most cases, you have at least 2 months and sometimes 3 months prior to the "Triggering Event" and at least 1 month or 2 afterwards to get things completed.
- Must apply for Part "A"
- Either apply for Part "B" or maintain creditable coverage
